Location, Props and Costume Report
Location:
I will be taking the images against a wall, or anywhere that lets of a sense of Modern age, which relates to pop.
Or by taking the image against a plain color/textured surface (E.g. green screen) then cutting the background out and placing the model against either of these scenarios
• Red Carpet (Awards Backdrop)
• On stage performing
• A gradient background
• Keeping them on a plain background
These are a few locations you expect to see Music Artists in.
Props: • Head Microphone to show the model performs.
• Microphone
• Award/Trophy
• Headphones
Costume: The model will wear normal ever day clothes as these are what are seen on Celebrities on magazines unless for a specific event and such.
• Everyday clothing
• Suit and tie for events
• Ripped jeans (Modern clothing)
• Up to date clothes
I mainly plan to use the model against a wall, then draining the color from the image and enhancing the contrast for effect. Then on the double page spread the model(s) will have a transparent background so it add effects to the page, with a pose that makes them look like they’re interacting with the text; giving it a sense of realism. The model on the front will either wear a head microphone or headphones, to show the musical theme. Inside the model will have limited props such as headphones. Then costume wise they will wear everyday modern clothes, as Pop artists do this.

Magazine Description
Via Flickr:
The title of the magazine stands out as the college is called EN, so leading the college name off into a longer word creates a sense of humour.
The colour scheme stands out as it matches the book the girl is holding.
Placing stories that catch the viewers interest.
The EN shape also creates a sense of humour and the "WIN TICKETS" catches the viewers interest as its a different colour to the stories.
I like the colour scheme and the positioning of everything.
I dislike how most titles stand out.
